Cars for Kids responded quickly and picked up my donations right away. The driver was professional and fast. I have my garage back, and maybe helped someone at the same time. It's a win/win! :)
The premise of the donation is to help kids in need, I get that, but they lure you into a falsity. What I mean by that is that they claim you will get the "highest possible tax deduction" if you donate your vehicle and also was never offered a $50 gift card like is said anywhere their ads are placed. I tried to claim a tax deduction from the vehicle I donated and was told that if the car wasn't worth more than $25k, then I would be better off not claiming it. The pickup and simplicity of the process is fine, but the after process is far less than was advertised. Overall, I won't do this again. I would rather find a kid in need and just give it to them.
This place has false advertising, claiming to take these donations to help college students and for the kids..This auction allows dealers, to arrive hours before the auction starts, They buy majority of the nice cars up front..
This place has been corrupted there all about banking in the money, people in the local community has been shut off from buying vehicles.. No tax write offs your better off donating to a college student yourself. Everything made for good and to help the less fortunate is always taking over bye greedy people that use the names of kids and college students to make a profit. I been coming here over 10 years..They keep it on line to cater to dealers. The corona virus was the excuse to not reopen.. keeping the locals out means more money for this corrupted facility..What's your current excuses from staying closed to the public.. City officials need to be involved at this point.
Dealing with Cars for Kids was trouble-free and their service was prompt. I appreciate the charity that donations will be used to help kids in need in our society. We'll donate to these folks again in the future.
They were great coming and picking up the car. Handled everything in a very timely manner with zero issues.
Very friendly customer service and wonderful people to work with.
Cars for Kids is a great organization with a wonderful purpose.
Cars for Kids was very easy to work with and they picked up my vehicle on my timeline which was great. Very easy and enjoyable experience donating to a great non-profit that helps those less fortunate.
The one star is with a minus. I took my 2006 Crossfire there it's a beautiful car. I put a cap on the amount for it to be sold an it was not met so I returned to pick it up. Upon arrival I immediately notice my convertible top was off the frame in the back. Also my kenwood removable face Plate was missing along with my luminate cell phone charger. I returned to the office to report this and no one had a clue as to where my property was. I truly believe that my items missing was in fact stolen (inside job). The manager told me I had signed a paper and they are not responsible for my lost. After telling me to go get a replacement quote for my Hyundai. Don't not go there at all. The place is turly crooked.
I tried to donate 2 boats. They were on trailers and did not have motors.
They would not take them because they didn’t have motors!!!!!
I will never donate to them again!!!!
All it is is a way to make themselves money it doesn’t go for the kids.
Anything donated brings in money but sometimes it is not always a lot of money.
